This exhibition was organized by the Worcester Art Museum 第1回印象派展から150周年を迎える2024年、印象派がヨーロッパやアメリカへもたらした衝撃と影響をたどる展覧会を開催します。 19世紀後半、大都市パリには国外からも多くの画家が集いました。パリで印象派に触れ、学んだ画家たちは、新しい絵画の表現手法を自国へ持ち帰ります。 本展は、西洋美術の伝統を覆した印象派の革新性とその広がり、とりわけアメリカ各地で展開した印象派の諸相に注目します。
